Christine Shively has prepared two 1 Day classes of outstanding dolls that celebrate
the inspiring aspects of India involving color, pattern and gesture. Passage to India Class 1, on Saturday, creates the 17" self-standing doll and does it without an internal or external armature! The blue garment shown at the left will be completed during Day 1. Pattern for this doll is $14. Passage to India and Beyond Class 2, on Sunday, expands on costume basics by improvisation with fabric, layering and manipulation using simple shapes. The inspiring aspects of India involving color, pattern, and embellishment will be some of the elements of this class. Some of the possibilities you can explore are shown here.
